Tunnel Vision.

I know these shots are a dime-a-dozen. But this one has some unusual dynamics that I like.

Katie's pretty happy about her Cinderella birthday cake.

Just snapshots from this event but this one had the right emotion.

Clouds & Sky
CSPics > 10-20-06

It was a dark and stormy . . . afternoon!

The sun turned into clouds and rain for a brief time today. And in the storm's wake - strong winds.

I only rolled my window down for a second to shoot this shot near my home. While not visable in the picture, the horizontal rain soaked my arm during the few seconds the car window was open.

Winter on the way . . .

A young man and his father testifying before a House of Representatives Committee hearing.

I attended a hearing at the PA Capitol today. I am part of a group that supports a congressional bill (PA HB 2718) that mandates 'Prosthetic Parity'. In other words, insurance companies cannot create special financial limitations (financial caps) for amputees that do not apply to the rest of their insured populations. It is common for insurance companies to put annual or lifetime caps that applies only to amputees . . . for example, a limit of $5000 per year or reimbursement of only one artificial limb in a lifetime. And these limits apply only to amputees.

This bill only mandates that these companies financially treat amputees the same any of their other insured people.

Tough lighting conditions, by the way!

Brenda standing in her new office! Or at least where her future office in the basement will be!

Our new house is starting to take shape. I'm expecting that with some of the footers in, we're not too far from seeing basement walls.

Shot a few shots today. None of them really worked as planned. Strong, contrasty light. Some bad lens flare. So I played around with this shot using some layers and different PS plug-in filters (a bunch!).

The building is near Lebanon, PA.

I like rice. Rice is great if you're hungry and want 2000 of something.
